📆 The boys had a superb home performance on wet Sunday afternoon
đź‘Ź Mungret Regional came out impressive 5 - 2 winners against a strong Aisling Annacotty side.
⚽️ Mungret took the lead just before halftime when Giona finished well after great work from Abdallah on the left wing sending the home side into the break 1–0 ahead.
đź’Ş The tempo increased after the restart. Fionn doubled the lead in the 50th minute. After another corner Miki made it 3 - 0 just three minutes later with a confident finish.
🥅 Aisling showed resilience, pulling one back in the 77th minute and narrowing the gap further in the 83rd minute to make it 3–2 and set up a tense finish.
⚽️ The response from Mungret was outstanding. Abdallah restored the two-goal advantage in the 85th minute, assisted by Julian, and just two minutes later Harry added the fifth — again set up by Julian — to seal a deserved and emphatic win.
